It’s the week of the Child Life Annual Conference and we are stoked!
LSQ Founder Sarah is especially ecstatic, “This year’s conference is going to put the ‘action’ in ‘distraction’! I know firsthand that a lot of hard work was put into this particular conference, by a lot of significant players. The 30th anniversary conference will serve as a beacon of pride for our field, letting us know that we’re about to own another dynamite 30! More importantly, it’s an opportunity to connect with new and old child life friends!”
LSQ will be keeping you updated about conference happenings and Sarah’s whereabouts on Twitter (@LightSpinnerQ). To support the popularity of the child life conference on Twitter, we’ll be using the hash tag #CLC30th. Not following us? You still have time, but click now!
Sarah will be handing out handshakes, laughs, and surprises! Will you be able to find her? Hint: Look for this…
From networking with child life specialists and students, to attending breakout sessions, to visiting the exhibitor booths, to seeing the sights in Washington, DC, we’re doing it all!
Please be sure to give a “thank you” and hug to those that put together the conference (hint: Ramona Spencer).
Child life students: Good Luck on your exams, you’ll do amazing and we can’t wait to have you on board as a CCLS!
Everyone else: we will see you at child life events throughout the rest of the year, so fear not. CHILD LIFE IS HERE, GET EXCITED!
